Our 140-acre Land of Dreams campus is the first facility of its kind in Tennessee and is making dreams come true for families and adults with special needs. Our gorgeous 140-acre property; 23,000 Stinnett Center for Learning, Art, & Enterprise; and our residential homes (two homes pictured below now open) – plus many other facilities – will allow BrightStone to grow into a model facility in the nation. And, with continued support from the community for our Homecoming Capital Campaign, we are are ready to build more homes.

2017: Land of Dreams – The Capital Campaign for BrightStone launched.
2020: May – Williamson County Commission 100% approves BrightStone’s Master Plan.
2021: Site development, Infrastructure, Wastewater System installation completed.
2022: November – Stinnett Center for Learning, Art & Enterprise completed; program/staff relocate.
2023: Construction of two Residential Homes completed. 100% of $20M Phase One capital campaign goal reached – with no government funding.
2024: February – DIDD issues Residential Licenses for two homes; The Ferrell Home for men and The Craig Home for women now open. August – BrightStone was selected by TN.Gov to be a Pilot Residential Program in Middle TN for adults with I/DD – the only organization allowed by law to do so!
2024: November – launch of Homecoming – The Capital Campaign for BrightStone to fund and build more homes; and other planned facilities.

Phase 1 Design, Construction, and Banking Partners
BrightStone is grateful for the compassion and expertise of Gamble Design Collaborative who designed our Master Site Plan and to our renowned architects, Earl Swensson Associates (ESa) – both provided their services at no cost to BrightStone. Our constuction partners included Solomon Builders (general contractor), Civil Site Design Group (engineers), and DeFatta Custom Homes (home builder). FirstBank was our construction loan funding partner.
