About the Event

In 2012 and at the age of 63, BrightStone lost a dear friend, Jim Hinton. Jim was a board member, devoted father and husband, an avid golfer, and a long-time caring and compassionate supporter of BrightStone.

To honor his memory BrightStone renamed its annual golf benefit to “The Jim Hinton Memorial Golf Benefit.”

As BrightStone’s most established fundraising event, the Jim Hinton Memorial Golf Benefit attracts many sponsors, corporate executives, and compassionate people who love to golf and who want to help adults with special needs have the best life possible.

Now in our 23rd year, this annual event has raised over $3 MILLION to support our programs for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities!

Pay to play as a sponsor or Fundraise to play!

There is no cost to register. We encourage each golfer to set a fundraising goal of $3,000.

As golfers make a concerted effort to reach out to their network of friends, family, co-workers and business contacts – they acquaint people with the mission of BrightStone and our life-changing program.
