Knights of Columbus Choose BrightStone as Recipient of Donation
FRANKLIN, TN—Representatives from the St. Philip Council 7764 of the Knights of Columbus recently toured BrightStone and presented a check in the amount of $3,357 to assist with the job and educational training of adults living with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Charity has been a founding principle for the Knights of Columbus since their inception in 1882. They are known as “men of faith and men of action”. According to SK Ron Kempf, Deputy Grand Knight, BrightStone was selected as a beneficiary of funds derived from an annual fundraising benefit held by their Council.
“We are thrilled to have been chosen by this caring organization in our community!” stated Brenda Hauk, Executive Director for BrightStone. “Their support and partnership will bring awareness and understanding of BrightStone’s mission and vision to many new friends”.
