FRANKLIN, TN—The Nashville Business Journal recently announced Dr. Cathy Stallworth as a 2012 Healthcare Heroes award winner. Dr. Stallworth was nominated as a Health Care Hero by BrightStone for her position as medical director of Life Therapies Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit at Baptist Hospital, her role as integrative medicine specialist at Nashville Medical Group, and her consistent support of BrightStone through her involvement in its Annual Music That Touches the Heart Benefit, Annual Golf Benefit, and Health & Wellness Program activities like yoga class. Health Care Hero nominations were reviewed by a panel of health care judges. Winners will be honored at an awards luncheon on May 10 at the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel and will be profiled in the Nashville Business Journal’s May 18 publication.
