Community Supports BrightStone’s “Music That Touches the Heart”

FRANKLIN, TN – April 2014 It was a very special evening for BrightStone in Liberty Hall at the Factory in Franklin, when BrightStone held its 12th Annual Benefit, “Music That Touches the Heart” on April 16. Local artist and renowned entertainer, Lee Greenwood enthralled the crowd of over 400 with his remarkable repertoire and ending with the amazing and emotional, “I’m Proud to be an American!”

“It was truly a heart-filled evening,” stated Brenda Hauk, Executive Director of BrightStone. “We are so very grateful to the gifted artists who donated their time and talent and to the sponsors, HCA/TriStar Health, Regg Swanson/STAR PT, Ryman Hospitality Properties Foundation, Dick and Dottie Wells, and Fred and Martha Nance. The evening could not have been possible without the wonderful volunteers who worked so hard and the businesses who donated items or provided in-kind

This year’s benefit raised over $100,000 to be used to help adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities throughout middle Tennessee to have a post-secondary environment where they can receive job training and life opportunities.
