BrightStone Announces 6th Annual Bowlability Fundraising Event

bowlability committee 1 FRANKLIN, TN - July 2014  -- It’s that time of year again!  BrightStone announces that Bowlability will take place the evenings of Monday & Tuesday, August 11th & 12th, at the Franklin Family Entertainment Center.  Bowlability encourages families, friends, and the community to “team up” to raise funds to support BrightStone, while having a fun time bowling.  BrightStone is more than just a place for job training for adults who have special needs--it is a life empowering, life changing, and life saving  experience for this underserved population. BrightStone’s Bowlability Committee is chaired by Christi Lassen, (owner of Olivia Olive Oil).  Christi explains why she decided to be the committee chair, “I learned about Brightstone for the first time when I was invited to join a friend's team for the Bowlability event two years ago. The joy of the students, the passion of the staff and the devotion of the Brightstone supporters were overwhelming!”  Other members include Kellum Ferree, Erin MacDonald, Tina Majors, Sarah Reese and Teresa Romanoff.  This group is busy recruiting teams and sponsors for the event. Join the fun!  There are several ways to become involved.  Participants can captain a team of six, join a team, or donate to a friend.  Each bowler is expected to raise a minimum of $100. Sponsorship opportunities are also available at the $200, $1000, $2500, or $5,000 levels.  Teams can choose between two dates and times, August 11 or 12 at 5:00 p.m. or 7:30 p.m.  To learn more about BrightStone’s Bowlability event please visit our website at http://brightstone.org/event-info/bowlability/ or to make a donation or register visit http://www.firstgiving.com/brightstone/BOWLABILITY2014.
