Jessica was all smiles when her name was called as "Star of the Week". Each week our "Stars" go grocery shopping for our lunch supplies for the next week and she is a good shopper! Along with shopping, her other favorite BrightStone activities include working in the paint room, learning about current events in the learning lab, riding the exercise bike, bowling and helping serve lunch. Jenny has gone through a few months of not feeling well but she is back to her normal self now. She comes in smiling and ready to take on all of our activities. It is so good to see her happy and enjoying life again. Jenny says her BrightStone favorites are working in the paint room, walking with the BrightStriders walking group, going to the park, and saying prayer before lunch.

Barbra enjoys life; she always has a smile and looks for the humor in all situations. Barbra is a BrightStone girl and wants to enjoy every minute of our day. Even when her Mother comes by and offers to take her home, she chooses to ride the bus! Barbra's favorite BrightStone activities are working in the paint room, riding the exercise bike, going to the library, computer activities and helping cook lunch. Allen is a quiet gentleman but takes great pride in his work. This week we made Father's Day gifts and his pride and reaction to his gift was priceless! Allen seems to enjoy all of our activities but he said his favorites are working in the consumables room, computer activities, going to Chick-Fil-A for a snack, and playing ball at the YMCA.
