Congratulations to Jessica and Barbra C., this week's Stars of the Week!
Jessica was thrilled to be selected Star of the Week; she knows it means a trip to the grocery store, and she's a great shopper. In addition to shopping, she enjoys working in mixes, assembling puzzles, riding the exercise bike, and saying the prayer before lunch. In her leisure time she enjoys listening to country music, playing with her dogs, and eating at Red Lobster.
There is big news at Barbra's house: she has a new puppy! The puppy is six weeks old and her name is Patty. She came to BrightStone for a visit last Friday and we were all smitten with puppy love! Barbra is a good friend to everyone at BrightStone and enjoys all of our activities. Her favorites are painting, going to the library, doing computer activities, and helping cook lunch.
Billy Lovett, Franklin native and BrightStone staff member, has been selected as a finalist for the Erie Chapman Foundation Servants Heart Award, one of several awards to be presented by Nashvilles Center for Nonprofit Management at its 2012 Salute to Excellence Awards dinner.

Congratulations to Catherine and Allen, this week's Stars of the Week!
Catherine (right) with her friend Jennifer
Catherine is always looking for fun. She wore an elf costume (complete with sunglasses) in the Franklin Christmas Parade last year; she looked great and walked the whole parade route waving to everyone! Each morning she comes to BrightStone happy and ready for her day. She says her favorite BrightStone activities are painting, shopping, computer activities, cooking, and stretching exercises.
Allen is a busy man who likes to stay on the go. We often see him and his roommate, Robert, shopping and eating around town. Our Stars of the Week assist Theresa and Billy with grocery shopping for next week's lunches, and Allen was thrilled to help out yesterday! In addition to shopping, Allen enjoys working in consumables, outings to Chick-fil-A, computer activities, cooking, and riding the exercise bikes.
Congratulations to Brian and Jennifer, this week's Stars of the Week!
Brian is a sweet and soft-spoken man; his friends all think he's a good bowler, a nice guy, and a great friend. Brian's BrightStone favorites include painting, doing computer activities, bowling, cooking, and playing basketball at the YMCA. He's also a fan of country music, game shows, and watching basketball.
Jennifer is very friendly and outgoing; she doesn't know a stranger or an enemy! In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys cheering on the UT Vols, eating at Red Lobster, and listening to country music (especially Keith Urban!). At BrightStone she enjoys painting, shopping, doing computer activities, and cooking.
